Charles Sydney Catlin (1915-1991) by arrangement with Deputy Whylie Harris of the City of London Corporation, produced this painting depicting a piece of White Hall history.

The first private showing of the 7ft x 4ft oil painting was in the Banqueting Hall, Whitehall Palace, Westminster, London, February 17th, 1971. It was here that the Royal Execution took place on
